I have been going to Dan and "E" for over two years now and have always been impressed by their service and dedication to solving the problem. Their labor cost is fair, maybe a little high, but well worth it knowing that they work on one car at a time, and guarantee satisfaction. I have used them for welding, tire and wheel balance, alignment, steering and suspension, and general repairs.

Mentally unstable

I have had a bad experience with this guy - he has a violent temper and I would advice others to stay away from him & his shop. He overcharges 3-4 times over the amount of time the work actually takes. He also avoids having to provide receipts so that the income is not on record. Good service, fair prices

Good service, fair prices: we have used Pep Boys in Encinitas for several years for both our cars-- Toyota Camry and Ford Escape. Always good service; prices are better than other providers. They call before any changes in work order. I recommend them to family and friends.

on hold 10 minutes!

on hold 10 minutes!: C'mon guys, hire a few more staff! A customer should not have to wait on hold to ask about pricing for an oil change!
