The Tax Masters were very helpful. They split the deal up into two contracts. They got me compliant and actually looked at my situation before trying to sell me an offer in compromise or some kind of settlement. Turns out I didn't qualify, so they set me up on a payment plan. That alone saved me. I had talked to this group JG Tax Group because they said bad stuff about Tax Masters. But they wanted to sell me a settlement before knowing my tax situations. All they knew was the debt and the back returns. In 3 years I'll be out of this IRS mess and I'm glad for it.

I am filing a complaint with AG of Tx, Federal Trade Com, BBB and anyone else who will listen and/or help. on behalf of my aged/disabled mother with alzheimers. I can assure you the poor reviews that TaxMasters refers to as competitors placing a target on their back because of their great success is completely wrong!! Just about every report, complaint, review I have read sound exactly what happened to my mother! Or as my mother has most fittingly RE-named them TaxBastards!! I recommend telling the American/ Texas public about what TM is lest they take your mother/father etc to the cleaners as well!! She contacted TM in early Dec., they drained her savings account in Dec, then they took $325 of the total of $750 social security that receives monthly. They took this $325 on Jan 3rd 2010 and Feb 3rd of 2010, they said they would be able to keep her from having to pay ANY monies what-so-ever to the IRS(ended up gvn her an incorrect bill owing to the IRS of over $5500 when she hasn't even made over $10k in a entire yr in the past 15 yrs-social sec only), they said they would absolutely keep her accounts from being levied, it was absolutely levied w/high bank fees leaving her with no money to live on, nothing to eat and no one at TM cared! Patrick Cox, Dewayne Logan, are bound to have mothers, grandmothers... what would they do if they were in my shoes?!? Make money, not caring who they stepped on walked on, trampled on, need I say more?!?!?>?!?!
