An Horrible Bowling Center in Pearland
First of all , we came there at 8:30 and one of the staff came out to there to our vehicles and informed us that they were going to close exactly at 10:00. We informed them that it was okay if we didn't finish the game. I promise my daughter that we would take she and all of her friends bowling. When we walked in there was an horrible stinge to the place. The rude man at the front desk was hesitant to opening the lanes for us because it was 8:45 and they closed at 10:00. We started bowling in this filthy place and came to the end of our game at 9:58. My husband threw his last ball down the lane and one of the staff was walking by the pins and kicked my husband ball to the gutter. I immediately asked him why did he do that and he told me that my husband was not supposed throw that particular ball down the lane because it was too light in weight. Well, I told him and the man at the front desk that we didn't work here nor did we bowl alot so we wasn't aware of that rule. Also, that we understood English and that's all he had to do was let us know. That was so rude! I left there very upset, they didn't bother letting us know that they didn't want us there. I called the next morning and spoke with the owner's son. He was just as rude as the rest of the staff ! He told me that he would have kicked the ball to the gutter too. He also informed me that, that bowling alley was family owned and operated. And for the person that commented that this was the best bowling alley in town...no this is the only bowling alley in town. We will never go back and if you like to be treated with respect as a valued customer, I strongly suggest that you don't either. Pearland has grown over the years, and we pretty much have everything at our reach, but I agree with all the others that says that we are in need of a new bowling alley. I also agree with the others that say I wish that I couldn't give them this 1 star because they really don't deserve it ! How did consumers allow this place to be in business for 15 yrs?

wow!
i know these reviews are a few years old. i grew up in this town and have been going to pearland bowling center since i was a kid. my parents played on a few league. after reading some of these review i was shocked at the negative. i have never had a problem. yes it is a cash only place but, it has a atm machine. the prices are cheap and the food is good! for the people who complain about having to wait for a lane. i always call first to find out what nights are league nights before i head up. weekends can be pack and i have had to wait before but, you get that at most bowling alleys! also to the group of people who wrote the bad review about getting kicked out for supposed bad language. you also claimed you were mad that you wasted $50 in beer. well i never spent that much money on beer there. pitchers are $5 so it you drank $50 in beer you probably deserved to be kicked out. i have seen people get rowdy and drunk and be asked to leave. first and for most it's a family place, not a bar. all in all i always had a good time there and would recommend it to people who can behave them self and just have a good time!

Pearland Bowling Center A Family Business You Can Trust
I have been dealing with this center now for pry 12 + yrs. for league play and fun. Never once has this place ever been dirty. As for stench the one person is speaking of the only ordor I have ever smelled was either when they were doing the lanes ( cause of chemichles and when they may burn something in the kitchen cause they are under staffed.) I have had an occassional problem with a employee being in a bad mood and getting rude, but never one of the owners. They have been like a 2nd family to me and a lot of their other repeat customers as well. Their food is a value and before Jack past away had even recieved recognition in the houston chronicle for the best breakfast in town for taste presentation and value.. I for one am a loyal pratron of this center and always will be!!!!!

By the way people are people, we all have our moods. You cant tell me that not one of you has ever been rude to another cause you had a bad day... So get off your high horse and have a bit of fortitude and understanding.

Not that bad‎
After reading all of the reviews, I was expecting this place to be the worst dive I had ever encountered. It really wasn't that bad. The staff weren't falling over themselves to be ultra friendly, but they were helpful and courteous. For just over $20, we got a lane for an hour (we did get the full hour and managed to get three games in), two sets of bowling shoes, 2 small sodas and a large popcorn. We will definitely be going back. Good value.‎
